Wednesday, May 6 — Granada Home base: Granada. We’ll spend the day exploring Granada, a city that blends history, culture, and livability in a way few places can. With its walkable center, layered architecture, and strong sense of place, Granada offers a unique mix of beauty, affordability, and everyday charm.

Thursday, May 7 — Day Trip to Almuñécar Home base: Granada. Today we’ll head to Almuñécar, a coastal town on the Costa Tropical known for its laid-back feel, warmer microclimate, and relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle. This is a great opportunity to experience a very different side of southern Spain — slower paced, sun-soaked, and close to the sea.

Friday, May 8 — Travel Day to Málaga Home base: Málaga. We’ll travel to Málaga and begin exploring one of Andalusia’s most dynamic coastal cities. Málaga offers an appealing blend of urban convenience, cultural energy, international access, and beach lifestyle — making it a favorite for many people considering a move to southern Spain.

Saturday, May 9 — Day Trip to Nerja Home base: Málaga. We’ll visit Nerja, a picturesque coastal town known for its sea views, charming center, and more relaxed atmosphere. It’s an ideal day to compare the feel of smaller-town living on the coast with the energy and convenience of a larger city like Málaga.

Sunday, May 10 — Málaga (Free Day) Home base: Málaga. A built-in free day gives you space to explore more intentionally. Revisit a neighborhood, spend time at your own pace, or test what daily life might feel like by doing ordinary things in an extraordinary place.

Monday, May 11 — Day Trip to Estepona Home base: Málaga. Today we’ll head to Estepona, a polished coastal town that has become increasingly popular for its balance of charm, lifestyle, and quality of life.
